Before becoming a Congressman, I was a small business owner. With that background, I have a better understanding of the hardships small businesses go through when people out in Washington overregulate. It not only harms growth, but it stifles innovation. It has been my goal from day one, and continues to be my goal, to make sure that small businesses continue to be the crux of our nation’s economy.

William Hollis Long II (August 11, 1955–) is an American auctioneer and politician who served as the U.S. Representative for Missouri's 7th congressional district from 2011 to 2023. The district includes much of the southwestern quadrant of the state and is anchored in Springfield. The district also includes Joplin and the popular tourist destination of Branson.
