Welsh musician and songwriter
Nicky Wire (born 20 January 1969) is a Welsh musician. He is best known as the lyricist, bassist and secondary vocalist of the Welsh alternative rock band Manic Street Preachers. Wire is notorious for his outspoken attitude and has been known to cause controversy in the press.
