Russian politician of Armenian origin, Minister of Foreign Affairs
Sergey Viktorovich Lavrov (born 21 March 1950) is a Russian Armenian diplomat who has been the Foreign Minister of Russia since 2004. Apart from this, he is also known for his strong stance against the foreign military intervention in the Syrian Civil War and the Libyan Crisis. He has also opposed the sanctions against Syria, Iran, and North Korea.
