The 21st century is the century of oceans, as the seas and oceans are the habitat and development space for coastal countries in general and the planet as a whole. The development of maritime economy and the protection of the marine environment play a very important role in the sustainable development of coastal countries, including Vietnam.

Vietnam has a young population that is digitally savvy. Around 60 percent of our population of 93 million are under 35, and approximately 54 percent are internet users. This is a favorable foundation and a sufficiently large market to cultivate the digital economy and accelerate investment into new business models in Vietnam.
