Adam Bennett Schiff (born June 22, 1960) is an American lawyer, author, and politician serving as a U.S. representative for California's 30th congressional district since 2001. A member of the Democratic Party, Schiff was a member of the California State Senate from 1996 to 2000. He is a candidate for the United States Senate in the 2024 election to succeed Dianne Feinstein.
