Besnat Hellen Mayase Jere (4 May 1952 – 7 June 2020) was a Zambian politician who served as the Member of the National Assembly for Luangeni from 2002 to 2006. She was a princess and a member of the Ngoni Royal Establishment, as the granddaughter of His Royal Highness Nkosi (King) Nzamane II. Nkosi Nzamane II was the younger brother of His Royal Highness Paramount King of Kings Mpezeni II, leader of the Ngoni people in Eastern Province.
