We are Africans, we are inherently creative people

It’s one of the most remarkable times to be African.

Let me tell you how I see Africa through my eyes. I see a continent rich in culture, diversity, and creativity, where communities are resilient, innovative, and deeply connected to their roots. I see young people driving change, entrepreneurs building solutions to local challenges, and a wealth of natural beauty that is second to none.

We as Africans must tell our own stories too. No one else can do it better.

Its important to us in Africa to focus attention not only on those things which have come from outside, but on those that have evolved from within our own African environment and whom our society has acknowledged as a source of pride to us. It is within this

What is Africa for me? Africa is home, Africa is a treasure that has not received its due credit, Africa is a misunderstood place, Africa is ancient, and Africa has many secrets to discover.

I want to say that Africa’s history and brilliance is there, and I want to say that Black people can be magical and fantastical creatures, as well as anything else.

Africa is endowed with an array of diverse talents and creatives that are excellent in their fields. Music lovers from all over the world have begun to see how phenomenal Afrobeat is and have been captivated by our unique sound. There's been a spin and the spotlight is on us now.

We know the African continent presents brilliant creatives and talent and I’m so excited for the rest of the world to enjoy our distinct voices.

African tradition of storytelling which gives me a great freedom of interpretation of our myths and legends, greatly inspires me.

Everyone has a different experience in their various African countries and every one of those experiences is real.

Africa’s story has been written by others; we need to own our problems and solutions and write our story..
