Struggle is very tough and when you cross that line, you risk going to jail, getting seriously hurt, killed, and watching your comrades getting seriously hurt and killed. That is not a pretty picture, but that is what happens when you fight an entrenched oppressor. We are struggling and will make it rough for them, but struggle is also going to be rough for us too. This is why we have to find ways to love and support each other through tough times. It is more than just believing that we can win: we need to have structures in place that can carry us through when we feel like we cannot go another step. I think we can move again if we can figure out some of those things. This system has got to come down. It hurts us every day and we can’t give up. We have to get there. We have to find new ways.

We all go through different struggles in life, but what is important when you are going through that journey is that you must have hope.

We cannot solve our most intractable problems unless we are honest about what they are, unless we are willing to have difficult conversations and accept what facts make plain.

The most difficult struggle of all is the one within ourselves. Let us not get accustomed and adjusted to these conditions. The one who adjusts ceases to discriminate between good and evil. He becomes a slave in body and soul. Whatever may happen to you, remember always: Don’t adjust! Revolt against the reality!

It’s the struggle that counts. You have to be willing to struggle.

Struggle is everywhere, without struggle no life, and if we want to go on living, we must be ready for further struggles.

You've got to go through it to get to the end of it.

You know, personal experience…you’ve got to learn to be tough, you’ve got to learn to survive.

We need to find a balance between solving problems and learning to live with unsolved problems.

You have to keep pressing through despair.

We need not agree on everything, but we must find a way to handle our differences so that they do not become divisive.

Every great and deep difficulty bears in itself it’s own solution. It forces us to change our thinking in order to find it.

Sometimes in life you have to do the hardest things to get somewhere—to change your life.
