I have a big network of friends and professional associates in Belgium.

We must thank God for all the benefits which have come from the Ugandan martyrs. May these African ancestors of ours obtain for us the love that has spread the Christian faith.

in this sphere even Belgium who, understanding in the end the sense of history, did not try any harder to oppose our independence, is prepared to give us her help and friendship.

Mr. Speaker, coming from Uganda, the last time the East African Legislative Assembly held their meeting in Uganda, the people of Uganda were very happy.

We believe in our cultures and values of Uganda and we do legislate for the population and the people in Uganda.

In this tragedy I would like to underline a beautiful thing, in my opinion, and that is the Uganda's capacity to welcome.

Also, it was clear that it is a profession that I will benefit from soon or later, and at the same time support the Rwandan society.

The government of Uganda recognizes the importance of regional integration and trade, and is committed to promoting policies and initiatives that will help to further strengthen economic ties between our countries.

We are going to Britain as friends, and I trust that South Africa will also be seen and accepted as a friend by that country and by the thinking and more responsible segment of the British public.

It’s wonderful to have international friends.

I still remain a Ugandan, but in the family of the Catholic people in South Africa. So, it is just sharing that we have come to share our faith with the people of Southern Africa.

For eighty years Belgium has sent your land the best of her sons, first to deliver the Congo basin from the odious slave trade which was decimating its population. Later to bring together the different tribes which, though former enemies, are now preparing to form the greatest of the Independent states of Africa.
