It’s been inspiring for me to have the privilege to work with. And so I thank you for your gracious words.

People get excited and feel like scientists, because they're working with us researchers to fix the problem.

One scientific discovery is a gift from the accumulated work of hundreds of researchers. Collaboration is crucial because viruses are smarter than researchers.

Yes, we are mothers, wives, nurses and teachers, but we're also engineers, rocket scientists and neurophysicists.

To be a public face for this long takes its toll, but I'm also I'm very grateful. I have an incredible team of people that I work with … I am so proud and grateful to be the face and the voice of a really strong public health team here
