If you love me, be patient. Look at the trees. Are they in a hurry to ripen their fruit?

He should not rush. He should go slowly and should seek the guidance ofGod.

Above all, trust in the slow work of God.
We are quite naturally impatient in everything
to reach the end without delay.
We should like to skip the intermediate stages.
We are impatient of being on the way to something
unknown, something new.
And yet it is the law of all progress
that it is made by passing through
some stages of instability — and that it may take a very long time.

And so I think it is with you;
your ideas mature gradually — let them grow,
let them shape themselves, without undue haste.
Don’t try to force them on,
as though you could be today what time
(that is to say, grace and circumstances
acting on your own good will)
will make of you tomorrow.

Only God could say what this new spirit
gradually forming within you will be.
Give Our Lord the benefit of believing
that his hand is leading you,
and accept the anxiety of feeling yourself
in suspense and incomplete.

I need to take my time and not rush into anything that may make you end in tears.

It's a bad habit, I know, but I believe that you shouldn't do anything in life until you're ready. Half of life's heartaches come from decisions made in a hurry. One should make haste slowly.

Be patient. Growing up, I always wanted things to happen fast; I sometimes still do. I try to rush the process and I have realised that the process is totally out of my control. Learning to let go and let God.

Matrimony is not something to rush into and I intend to live by that I will not fall for the pressure of marriage because if I do and in the end something goes wrong the same people he asked me why I didn't take my time.

You may have to wait longer than you would like, you may have to bear privations; but, bear and forebear. Have confidence in the Providence that so far has never failed us. The way is not yet clear. Grope along slowly. Do not press matters; be patient, be trustful.

Just don’t rush the process; trust it. You have to grow into your dreams.

My mistake has too often been that of too much haste. But it is not the people’s way to hurry, nor is it God’s way either. Hurry means worry, and worry effectually drives the peace of God from the heart.

Don't lose patience. Wait on the Lord... He knows what is best for you. Obey His Instruction Book and "trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding" (Proverbs 3:5). Don't trust your judgements or your emotions.

Never rush into anything—unless into is the direction you want to go.

Do not be in a hurry, the right man will come at last

Go wisely and slowly. Those who rush stumble and fall.
