If we really want to love others, we must first begin to love one another in our own home. Love begins at home, and so from here-from our own home-love will spread to my neighbor, in the street I live, in the town I live, in the whole world.

If you learn the art of self-restraint and thoughtfulness, you will become more and more like Christ. His heart is all recompense, and He always thought of others. Jesus went about only doing good. At Cana, our Blessed Mother thought only of the needs of others and made them known to Jesus. The thoughtfulness of Jesus, Mary, and Joseph was so great that they made Nazareth a privileged abode of the Most High. If we had the same solicitude for one another, our communities would truly become a privileged abode of the Most High.
