Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City, killing 168 people, on April 19, 1995. He was convicted of committing 11 offenses of United States federal law, and was sentenced to death being executed in 2001 for his role in the bombing. The bombing was the deadliest event of domestic terrorism in the United States, and the deadliest act of terrorism within the territorial borders of the United States, until the September 11 attacks of 2001.
