Michael Andrew Gove, Lord Gove of Torry (born 26 August 1967) is a British journalist, editor of The Spectator magazine since October 2024 and Conservative politician. During his parliamentary career (he is a former MP), Gove has served as Secretary of State for Education (2010–2014), Secretary of State for Justice (2015–2016) and Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (2017–2019). He served as Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities (2021–July 2022, October 2022–July 2024).
