Additional quotes by Charles Kingsley

When all the world is old, lad,
And all the trees are brown;
And all the sport is stale, lad,
And all the wheels run down; Creep home, and take your place there, The spent and maimed among:—
God grant you find one face there,
You loved when all was young.

And what is the joy of Christ? The joy and delight which springs forever in His great heart, from feeling that He is forever doing good; from loving all, and living for all; from knowing that if not all, yet millions on millions are grateful to Him, and will be forever.
