The Mitooma District Secondary Schools Sports Association reported that more than ten schools were disqualified from the competition for using unqualified players, in violation of the rules governing secondary school sports. This statement refutes allegations that certain schools were given preferential treatment.

Many schools have been relying on unqualified players, which has limited opportunities for students to showcase their talents. Banning such teams would help boost sports in the district by allowing more talents to be recognized and developed.

The government should allocate more funds to infrastructure development in primary schools to foster a better learning environment.
