Sue-Ellen Cassiana "Suella" Braverman KC (née Fernandes, born 3 April 1980) is a British politician and barrister who served as Home Secretary from 6 September to 19 October 2022 (under Liz Truss) and 25 October 2022 to 13 November 2023 (under Rishi Sunak). A member of the Conservative Party, she was chair of the European Research Group from 2017 to 2018 and attorney general for England and Wales from 2020 to 2022.
