Akua Asabea Ayisi started her primary education at Presbyterian Primary in Mampong, later on enrolled in the Presbyterian Girls School in Osu, Accra. She then proceeded to the Government Secretarial School to further her education. In those days, it was not common for women to achieve that high level of education.
