American trauma expert and author
Don Wood, PhD, is an American trauma expert, author, and speaker who founded the Inspired Performance Institute in 2015. He created the patented TIPP method (The Inspired Performance Program), a neuroscience-based approach that aims to clear the effects of disturbing and traumatic events. Wood coined the concept of "Atmospheric Conditions" to describe how a person's life experiences shape their present behavior, and the related idea of "emotional concussions." He is the author of "Emotional Concussions: Understanding How Our Nervous System is Affected By Events and Experiences" (2020) and "You Must Be Out of Your Mind: We All Need A Reboot," with a forthcoming book "Don't Mess With My DNA."
