I don’t believe that looks matter (as an important trait in acting). One’s look can be a plus, but there are different characters (in a movie). It’s not always about looking good in front of the camera. One has to be able to strip oneself of all that. Also, one has to be versatile and be able to let go of the glam, and get down dirty and get into characters,
