American-British sculptor (1880–1959)
Sir Jacob Epstein (10 November 1880 – 19 August 1959) was an American-born British sculptor who worked chiefly in the UK, where he pioneered modern sculpture. He also painted, and exhibited pictures regularly in exhibitions.
