I've been watching the draft enough years that I know crazy things have happened. I've watched people on camera slip, and then the camera stays in their face and all that stuff. I'm keeping everything on the table. Honestly, I expect to be No. 1, but I'm not positive about it.

And they start trying to arrest people in the locker room. Yeah. After we won the national title. We're like, 'What's going -? C'mon.' This was in Louisiana. We played in New Orleans for the national title. They were trying to (arrest us). And then I think they finally realized like what are we doing?

It's exciting for us to see the Bengals in the news a lot. Growing up nobody talked about the Bengals too much. It's exciting for us, exciting for the city that people are starting to realize we're a really good team and an exciting team as well.

Coming from southeast Ohio it's a very impoverished area and the poverty rate is almost two times the national average. There's so many people there that don't have a lot and I'm up here for all those kids in Athens and Athens County that go home to not a lot of food on the table, hungry after school. You guys can be up here, too.

Just getting my hips stronger through my rehab has gotten a ton more velocity on my ball. I've been very happy with that.

This is the NFL. This isn't peewee, this isn't high school where you go out and run up the score. You play until the final whistle. I don't care what the score is. We've been in spots where teams go out and do that to us. They did it to us last year. No sympathy from me.

We're still a healthy team, which not a lot of people can say at this point in the season. We've been lucky as far as injuries and COVID-19. We're doing a great job with our COVID protocols. Fortunately, there's not a ton to do in Cincinnati, so nobody's going out to clubs and bars and getting COVID every weekend.

I'm just so thankful for LSU and Ohio State. Playing at two of the best programs in the country. Great coaches both places.

The window's my whole career. Everybody that we have in that locker room, all the coaches we have. Things are going to change year-to-year, but our window is always open.

Well I came here to play. I didn't come here to sit on the bench for four years. I know I'm a pretty good quarterback. I want to play somewhere.

I enjoy getting hit sometimes. It makes me feel like a real football player instead of a quarterback. People can look down on quarterbacks if they're not taking hits.
