American humanitarian and missionary (1954–2024)
Mary Damron (17 April 1954 – 26 December 2024) was an American humanitarian and missionary who was best known for her global work with Christian humanitarian aid organization Samaritan's Purse and the Operation Christmas Child program. Damron traveled to and outreached in more than 40 countries and four continents delivering shoeboxes filled with gifts to children in war-torn and impoverished countries.
