Sir Michael Cathel Fallon KCB MP (born 14 May 1952) is a British politician who served as Secretary of State for Defence from 2014 to 2017 when he resigned over his inappropriate conduct. A member of the Conservative Party, he served as Member of Parliament (MP) for Sevenoaks from 1997 to 2019, having previously served as MP for Darlington from 1983 to 1992.
