Stephenie Meyer (born December 24, 1973) is an American author. She is author of the young adult Twilight saga, which consists of Twilight and its sequels New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn. The Twilight saga centers around Bella Swan, a human girl who falls in love with vampire Edward Cullen. Meyer is also the author of an adult science-fiction novel, The Host.
