Yom Tov of Joigny Quotes

Rabbi Yom Tov of Joigny (died 1190) was a French-born English rabbi and poet. He died in the massacre of all the Jews of York in 1190. His hymn "Omnam Kayn" is recited in all Ashkenazi synagogues each year on the evening of the Day of Atonement.
