Tell your body that it is strong, tell your mind that it is strong, and have unbounded faith and hope in yourself.

I will tell the athletes to work hard and not to let sports get into their heads. They must complement their endowed talents with education. It gives them something good to hold on to after their retirement. Also as an athlete, you need to be disciplined and make up your mind on what you want. You must determine what you want to do with your life.

"Keep Believing In Your Self; You will Do Great Things".

I am always giving advice to young players about how things are, how important it is to work hard every day to reach the glory days.

It's about the hope I give to people to keep trying and about the legacy that I want to leave behind. I know there are people beyond athletics who see themselves through me in their daily struggles.

Believe in yourself.

Sometimes I’m in doubt, but my coach reminds me that I can do something good. So I believe in myself.

To the youngsters of today, I say believe in the future, the world is getting better; there still is plenty of opportunity

I want people to know that there is hope. You have to take it one day at a time and believe that it will get better. I still struggle some days and I have to talk to myself and let myself know that it will be alright, even if I don’t feel like it in the moment

When you get up every day, I want you to remind yourself that tomorrow will be better than today. That you are a person of value. That you are important.

You have to believe in yourself.

I want to say to all the students – believe in yourself, work extremely hard, never take no for an answer, keep pounding on those doors and be prepared that you will fail at some thimngs and that is actually ok because you learn but never ever give up. I believe if you keep going and follow the lessons you’ve learned at this University the sky is our limit.

I wanted to give them that feeling of you are special, you are incredible, No matter what your accomplishments are, you are just as good as everybody else. I wanted them to feel like they were competing at the Olympics and now that they had made it, this is your moment, now just go out there and enjoy.
