I am tired of people being told ‘ihangane’ (sorry),”

I'm so tired of trying to say things to people and having them not listen. That's probably the reason why a lot of people think that I'm either depressed or sullen or shy because I just simply will not talk to you unless that I think that you're listening to me. I just simply won't. I can't.

I find people only listen to you when they ask you to talk to them.

We have become so impatient that’s why we don’t listen to each other.

People are fed up with politicians who don't listen to them. Fed up with a corrupt system that benefits the elites instead of working men and women.

Nobody ever listened to me and I used to think that was their fault. Eventually I got to realise maybe it was the fact I was boring and paranoid that was the problem. But you find that people who know you rarely listen to a word you say, even though they'll happily take as gospel the word of a man they've never met if it's on a record or in a book. If you want to say something and have people listen then you have to wear a mask. If you want to be honest then you have to live a lie.

It's as simple as this. When people don't unload their opinions and feel like they've been listened to, they won't really get on board.

I get tired of talking when I want to be silent.

It is tiring to continue to be part of Nigerian conversation when there’s no positive impact to it.I really do not want to be part of it, as I’ve found over and over again that speech and words are wasted on people who have no understanding of responsibility on us as black people on this planet.

And I stop listening to me, because to put it bluntly, I tire me.

I'm learning to hate the sound of my own voice.

I am sick of having opinions. I am sick of talking.

I’m sick and tired of hearing from all these “experts” who tell us what to do, but haven’t produced results in their own lives.
