The winter solstice has always been special to me as a barren darkness that gives birth to a verdant future beyond imagination, a time of pain and withdrawal that produces something joyfully inconceivable, like a monarch butterfly masterfully extracting itself from the confines of its cocoon, bursting forth into unexpected glory.

Človeški rod ni več skromen. Nima čaščenja. Je aroganten in poln lastne tehnologije. Stalno se zavaja s svojimi iluzijami, da obvladuje svoje stvari, in tako ustvarja kaos in še vedno hoče videti, da je svet nemogoče obvladati. Jemljemo od Zemlje in drug drugega. Uničujemo gozdove, oceane, in ozračje. Drug drugega zasužnjujemo, mučimo pretepamo, ponižujemo in morimo.
