The best life is one in which we’re excited to wake up in the morning. When we have that, we ‘win’ no matter what happens in our love lives. With or without a person to share it with, we have a passionate, fun, exciting and emotionally fulfilling existence. Whatever happens, we become extraordinary, and the truth becomes clear: we don’t enter relationships hoping to create an amazing existence, we come to them to share one with someone else.

I think it’s great to live your “best life,” but after all is said and done, your impact is what counts.

You live to realize your best self. You live to create something better than you.

Our best life is to die well: for living here we enjoy nothing: things past are dead and gone: things present are alwayes ending: things future alwayes beginning: while we live we die; and we leave dying, when we leave living.

To get the best out of life here ...Good grief. There's plenty of it about, so indulge. Give yourself some thing to remember. Fall in love. Fall out of love. Gamble. Get drunk. See how long you can stay awake. Go for long walks at night. Discover what you're afraid of doing, and then do it.

The worst life is to wake up and have nothing you want to do. The best life is not being able to stop yourself from launching out of bed, working on a project that's important to you, and having so much clarity that stress and worry can't even find their way into your brain.

Live live to the fullest! Or else...you won't.

Live life when you have it. Life is a splendid gift-there is nothing small about it.

Explore life from a position of power.

When you believe, "Even if I stay single, I'll still have a great life" … then you are in a much better position to enter a relationship.

When you believe, "Even if I don't get into this school, I'll still have a great life" … then you are in a much better position to apply.

When you believe, "Even if I don't succeed with this business, I'll still have a great life" … then you are in a much better position to give it a try.

Sure, you may want the relationship to work or the business to be a success—and you should give it your best effort—but also realize that if it doesn't work out, you'll be fine. There are many ways to live a great life.

There are many elements of living a good life, but the first and most foundational is to love yourself and enjoy spending time with yourself.

Go do things on your own so you learn to trust your mind and view it as a welcome companion. If someone declared, "Tomorrow you must spend the day alone" the hope is that you would reply, "That sounds like a good day!"
