Take away the future, which doesn't yet exist, and the past that has disappeared. Be fulfilled now, in this moment.

There comes a time when the world gets quiet and the only thing left is your own heart. So you'd better learn the sound of it. Otherwise you'll never understand what it's saying.

Listen to your life. Listen to what happens to you because it is through what happens to you that God speaks . . . It's in language that's not always easy to decipher, but it's there, powerfully, memorably, unforgettably.

The more faithfully you listen to the voices within you, the better you will hear what is sounding outside.

Believe your heart, especially when it's already tried and tested. Never contradict it, for it can usually foresee what matters most. It is your private oracle.
