To me, people who plan and build well for the long-term are heroes.

Those who run into burning buildings are truly heroes.

But those who do the work to prevent buildings from catching fire in the first place are just as much heroes.

I love working with heroes day in and day out.

The hard reality is that adulthood is not necessarily an age. It's more a skill.

So much of winning comes down to three things (that rarely get taught):

1 / Enduring the pain of criticism.
2 / With that, getting over the fear of rejection.
3 / Leaning into the boredom of mental *and* physical repetition.

It's a curiosity to me why we never teach this from one generation to the next.

These attributes are not givens.
