To be honest, I never deny the (current) economic progressing in China. But being such kind of a strong country, (the country) sent people who pursue democracy to jail, restrict their right to leave and return, and ask them to visit patriotic exhibitions in exchange of retrieving a passport. Aren't these represent another kind of weakness (of the county)?

What does it matter if China’s economy grows when there are no basic protections for its citizens?
