We can't say that the humanitarian situation is currently excellent, but in the cities the government has been able to visit through its various ministers, the situation is gradually returning to normal. It must be said that sometimes it's the lack of a framework for dialogue that is at the root of conflicts. In the places I've been able to visit, we've always ended up finding common ground, and most of the time, it's misunderstandings or rumors that are at the root of crises.

However, my country remains concerned about the inadequacy of funding for programs and the absence of development actors in areas where conditions have become favorable for return. I therefore launch from this podium a heartfelt plea for greater mobilization of resources in favor of the Central African Republic, my country, which only wants peace, security, and stability.

As I told you, humanitarian responses depend on the resources available. This year, the areas affected by the resurgence of violence were covered by humanitarian actors to the extent permitted by the security situation.
