We can't say that the humanitarian situation is currently excellent, but in the cities the government has been able to visit through its various ministers, the situation is gradually returning to normal. It must be said that sometimes it's the lack of a framework for dialogue that is at the root of conflicts. In the places I've been able to visit, we've always ended up finding common ground, and most of the time, it's misunderstandings or rumors that are at the root of crises.

Several humanitarian workers have been targeted by armed groups, and several have sadly lost their lives. As I said, this is the work of the enemies of peace, those who do not want the crisis in the country to end. They continue to attack people who are only seeking to save lives. This shows a total lack of patriotism on the part of those who claim to have taken

I must express the gratitude of the Central African people to the organizers of this session during this health crisis; they succeeded in bringing the world together around issues related to the problem of displaced persons. I dare to believe that the recommendations and resolutions resulting from this moment of exchange will be taken into account and translated into action.

However, my country remains concerned about the inadequacy of funding for programs and the absence of development actors in areas where conditions have become favorable for return. I therefore launch from this podium a heartfelt plea for greater mobilization of resources in favor of the Central African Republic, my country, which only wants peace, security, and stability.

My delegation remains convinced that only durable solutions, including voluntary and freely consented returns, can put an end to the suffering of displaced persons. I would like to welcome the initiative to establish a platform to support durable solutions for the situation in the Central African Republic.
