If so much of what we call life is mostly created by our thoughts and beliefs, then much of what we take to be real — all the constructs, rules, and “shoulds” of the culturescape — is nothing more than an accidental tweak of history.

Yet humanity has widely decided that religion should be absolutist: In short, pick one and stick to it for the rest of your life. And worse — pass it on to your children through early indoctrination, so they feel they have to stick to one true path for the rest of their lives. Then repeat for generations. Choose a religion if it gives you meaning and satisfaction, but know that you don’t have to accept all aspects of your religion to fit in.

Nature loves courage. You make the commitment and nature will respond to that commitment by removing impossible obstacles. Dream the impossible dream and the world will not grind you under, it will lift you up. This is the trick.
