Representation is so important for those who never believed that social standards can be vanquished. For the little ones who need to grow up believing that they can take up space and make a difference in the world because they see a reflection of themselves everywhere.

This is the time to shine as the world is focused on diversity. We have the power to disrupt the industry. We need strategic partnerships to grow the industry.

Regarding representation, I think we have to use our power as consumers. Do your research and support the brands which are serious about representing you and people who look like you.

I want to speak up about representation in the industry because it is important. My experience has been hard coming up. I was naive and didn't know about the systemic stuff that still continues today and having experienced it, I know there's a need for change and I want to be a voice for that.

I hope we can get to a place where it's normal to say, "Yeah, my wife and I," and it's not, "oh my god!" Which is why it's important to have representation.

It's great to finally have representation of our Indigenous people. We don't look one way; we're diverse. Having that representation is going to echo out our voices to be heard in spaces that they're usually not heard. I hope that inspires creativity within our community, and also confidence—a sense of confidence to be strong and to hold our head high.

I felt if we are going to get anywhere, Congress has got to begin to reflect in its composition the great diversity of this country.

The challenge starts at home, and it's especially timely for Members to accelerate efforts to create the diverse and inclusive workforce needed now and into the future to better serve our shared mission, and to ensure that the information shared with users genuinely reflects their needs. It's not just about being fair and equitable to everyone; it's about making the best use of the resources and capability we share to deliver the best outcomes for all,

Don't speak about diversity and just have us there because you want to make it look like it's diverse. Meaningful representation, that's what it's all about, where the characters have real hopes and dreams and lives and it's very sincere to the culture.

Now is really the time to raise more awareness of what’s going on and to demand that things change. This younger generation is not afraid to speak out, I think they’ve given a lot of us courage to really stand up to what’s right, and I think that’s what we need to follow

I hope the quantities go up. Right now, there's still very few in my mind. I think that since Asian America is a multicultural, multi-ethnic society, we need as many voices that we can get out there to represent all of us. Because we cannot speak for everyone, we need more voices. We need diverse voices, we need mixes; we need many more diversity in the same screen. All of these things are things that are on the agenda, and I'm ticking them off one by one. That's how it goes.

Diversity has always been incredibly important, but we have not always had the progress to support there being more inclusion in the entertainment industry until more recent times.

We need to have a fair representation in terms of gender, a fair representation in terms of generation, a fair representation in terms of culture, a fair representation in terms of all Libyans of diaspora and inside of Libya, a fair representation as well of urban and rural areas… of the capital and more disenfranchised regions and cities. I cannot only focus on women’s empowerment; I need to address the other issues as well
