Hungary is like a doorway to the European Union and for us Rwanda is also a doorway to the African continent. So, that makes our situation also quite unique. We are bigger in size but our population is almost similar,

We Hungarians accept principle that in time when Germany and Italy fight their giant struggle to guarantee better future of Europe and for fair and permanent peace, small and middle-sized states in the central Europe can only have the obligation to guard and secure in every way peace and understanding in their countries.''

Over the next few decades the main question in Europe will be this: will Europe remain the continent of the Europeans? Will Hungary remain the country of the Hungarians? Will Germany remain the country of the Germans? Will France remain the country of the French? Or will Italy remain the country of the Italians? Who will live in Europe?

Hungary is a sovereign country, and no one from outside can tell us how to live.

We have a shared responsibility to ensure that the worldwide and irreversible victory of freedom and democracy doesn't remain merely a scenario. We must work together so that the actors in the story of the 21st century are able to live in prosperity and integrity, at peace with themselves and each other. Hungary is a responsible and reliable partner of the United States in this.

We believe that the solutions chosen by Western governments are not satisfactory. They have chosen to support migration, inviting people to leave their homeland, while Hungary argues, on the contrary, that it is the primary interest of every person to remain in their homeland.

Hungary is bigger in size, but our population is almost similar. We need to focus on how we cooperate based on a mutual respect because that is what we can offer as Hungarians, the respect for you, for your way of life, for your people and for your nation; and that is what we expect also from our allies. It is this mutual respect background which our corporation already lies on and which it is going to fly on in the future as well,

Hungary is a country that has suffered a lot with communism in the past, a people that knows what dictatorship is. The Brazilian people still do not know what dictatorship is, do not know what it is to suffer at the hands of these people.

Our Europe cannot perish. Her religion - which is also mine - has in it those victorious energies of defense which neither merchants nor philosophers can understand, and which are yet the prime condition of establishment. Europe, though she must always repel attacks from within and from without, is always secure; the soul of her is a chivalric. And the gates of Hell shall not prevail against it.

She will not dissolve by expansion, nor be broken by internal strains. She will not suffer that loss of unity which would be for all her members death, and for her history and meaning and self an utter oblivion. She will certainly remain.

In Hungary, thank God, we have a very good cooperation now. The politicians have to live with faith. In Europe they have to believe Christ and follow Him. They can help the people, the entire country, to lead them to the real goals and not for the goals of today. The leaders of the church can help them to make their faith and the politicians can help the church in many things.

For a country to be strong, demographic decline must be out of the question. At this point in time, this is Hungary's Achilles heel. A country which is in demographic decline – and, to put it bluntly, is not even able to sustain itself biologically – may well find that it is no longer needed. A country like that will disappear. Only those communities survive in the world which are at least able to sustain themselves biologically; and let's be honest with ourselves, Hungary today is not yet such a country.

Yes, it is Europe, from the Atlantic to the Urals, it is Europe, it is the whole of Europe, that will decide the fate of the world.

Hungary has been a Christian country for more than a thousand years. Europe was also created by Christian culture. Remembering it to is not a question of image, but of self-defense and humanitarian concern.

We truly wish that a state so important for us should further develop in peace and stability. We wish to see Ukraine offer a secure and attractive future to all its citizens and that the Hungarian community feels at home in that country. To meet those goals we stand ready to provide all assistance.
