Affluence has not brought misery. The money did not stay in your pocket; it got into your head. Only then misery came to you. Having lots of money in your pocket is good. But if it enters your head, it becomes misery, because that is not its place.

living well is if you are able to sit here in such a way that nothing matters; whether you have something or not, even whether there is food to eat or not, it does not matter to you. You are just fine. It is not that you are incapable of earning your food and other things, but that does not decide who you are right now. What kind of garment you are wearing does not decide who you are right now. What kind of house you are living in does not decide who you are right now. How someone else treats you does not decide who you are right now. What someone says to you does not decide who you are right now. How you are looked up to or looked down upon does not decide who you are right now.
