There is hope everywhere.
Today God gives milk
and I have the pail

I want to belong. I'm like a jew who ends up in the wrong country. I'm not a part. I'm not a member. I'm frozen.

And then I knew that the voice
of the spirits had been let in — as intense as an epileptic aura — and that no longer would I sing
alone.
