With voice work, what's so special about it is it doesn't matter what you look like.

I am somebody. I am me. And I don't need anybody to make me somebody.

I pay no attention whatever to anybody's praise or blame. I simply follow my own feelings.

I do not ask who you are, that is not important to me, You can do nothing and be nothing but what I will infold you.

I'm intact, and I don't give a damn.

You don't need anybody to tell you who you are or what you are. You are what you are!

I'll be who I am and say what I feel because people who mind don't matter and people who matter don't mind.

All I have is a voice.

I need no warrant for being, and no word of sanction upon my being. I am the warrant and the sanction.

Whatever else has been said about me personally is unimportant. When I sing, I believe. I'm honest.

Names are not important. It's what lies inside of you that matters.

If your work speaks to them, it is of no consequence if you are heard and understood.
