We are all born worthy. Worthy of love, worthy of success.

I consider myself very blessed and fortunate.

We are the most fortunate generation that has ever lived. And we are the most fortunate generation that ever will.

Has any one supposed it lucky to be born?

We are fortunate to be alive at this moment in history.

We in America have been very fortunate. We've been blessed with a wonderful country and everything and wonderful resources.

Those men and women are fortunate who are born at a time when a great struggle for human freedom is in progress. It is an added good fortune to have parents who take a personal part in the great movements of their time. I am glad and thankful that this was my case. (Ch 1)

I also want you to know I'm grateful beyond measure. My life has been blessed with good fortune. I'm grateful I was born in America, that cradle of freedom and opportunity where a kid from the Michigan North Woods can work hard and make something of his life. I'm grateful for the greatest words ever written, that let me share with you the infinite scope of the human experience. As an actor, I'm thankful I have lived not one life, but many.

Rich people, God bless us. We deserve all the opportunities to make sure our country and our blessings continue to the next generation.

Let others praise ancient times; I am glad I was born in these.

The young need to know how lucky they are to have been born in this splendid country, Italy.

I had youth, beauty, two advantages conferred by chance, and of which we are as proud as if they were hard-won.

Well, aren't we all grateful to be alive? I just know lots of people … at my age, I've lost a lot of people in my life and I'm very grateful to be here. That's what I mean.

I’m so lucky to be having a happy childhood as an adult.
