I'm very clear also that the British people don't want the issue of Article 50 being triggered just being kicked into the long grass because they want to know we're getting on with the job of putting Brexit into place and making a success of it.

I will do whatever it takes to stop Brexit

Brexit is at the front of many people’s minds in this election, and my position is clear. Although I voted to Remain, I am a democrat and I accept the outcome of the referendum. Now that the people have voted to leave the EU, I will fight to make sure North Norfolk gets the best possible deal from negotiations – for local businesses, jobs, and public services.

I voted against a delay to Brexit.

I am a born fighter throughout my political life. I have not lost my heart by the results of the Parliamentary elections.

[I am] not aiming for a no-deal [Brexit] outcome

I didn't come into politics to change the Labour Party. I came into politics to change the country.

[I will campaign for Remain to stop] no deal or a damaging Tory Brexit

I am ready to campaign with all my heart and soul to keep Britain inside a reformed European Union.

This means we must not try to re-fight the referendum or push for a second vote and if Article 50 needs to be triggered in Parliament Labour will not seek to block or delay it.

But the EU should be clear: I will not overturn the result of the referendum. Nor will I break up my country.

[If it] finally comes to a decision between no deal and no Brexit, I will choose no deal

I have believed in Scottish independence all my political life, I continue to believe in Scottish independence, I shall do everything I possibly can to contribute to that cause.

Interviewer: The Conservative MP Ben Bradley is in the House of Commons, he voted to remain, then became a Brexiteer, then voted against the deal, then voted for the deal, then said he'd struggle to back the deal again, but now says he will back the deal. Ben Bradley, why do you get to change your mind?
