We do a lot of advocacy and promotion of businesses to help our members. Since I became president, we have been doing much to help our members in their businesses. These are not the best of times for people. There is recession. People are finding it difficult with their businesses. So, anything that will promote businesses, we always do. This is why a lot of people are joining the chamber everyday

I have always believed that to be successful in life, you have to work hard. There is no short cut to it; you just have to work hard. I have been used to working hard since I was young. I am also very careful about how I behave because I don’t want people to say negative things about me. So, I try to behave well.

On the part of government anyway, conducive learning environment would have to be provided, school buildings should be solid and not dilapidated. A wide variety of teaching and learning materials should be made available. There should be a strong and solid inspectorate. Teachers should also be given the opportunity of self-development through workshop, seminar, refresher courses where latest ideas and modern methodologies of teaching would be learnt. There should also be improved and prompt release of fund to the educational sector
