Let us all work together as one people with a common destiny to build a better Ghana

I ask you to seek a common good beyond your comfort; to defend needed reforms against easy attacks; to serve your nation, beginning with your neighbor.

A united Georgia needs our unity now, to work together towards our many common goals.

As a people, we most certainly must work together.

Even though people can have ambition, we should work together because the realization of any ambition is from God.

All together, dear brothers and sisters, workers and government employees, workers by brain and by hand, rich and poor, Africans and Europeans, Catholics and Protestants, Kimbanguists and Kitawalists, let us unite and create a great nation.

From this Parliament let some valorous, new, strong, and courageous influence go forth, and let us have here an agreement of all faiths for one good end, for one good thing— really for the glory of God, really for the sake of humanity from all that is low and animal and unworthy and undivine.

To this end I suggest we need to look to an idea deeply rooted in Christian life and thought. The idea of the Common Good. The Common Good is concerned with personal and mutual flourishing in terms of our talents and vocations. It is about treating people as they really are: as human beings who belong to families, localities and communities. To shared traditions, interests and faiths. Not as abstracted, rootless, atomised individuals that dominates neo-classical or neoliberal thinking -the thinking that dominates our life.

We need to unite our forces to develop our country

If we all work together, we can foster greater understanding, positive change and create a more peaceful world for ourselves, our children, our families and our communities.

God being a common good, and His boundless love being common to all, He gives His grace...to all men, Pagan and Jew, good or evil...Thus God is a common light and a common splendour, enlightening heaven and earth, and every man, each according to his need and worth.

We must all work together to spread the Gospel for the salvation of the world.

May Your Kingdom be established, and may we partake in Your Joy. May Your Will be done on Earth, as it is in Heaven, and may we work together with You.

Collaborate as members of the communion of saints, in the salvation of our country and our world.
