I knew that I had the ability, as a young African woman, to sustain a music management company that would cater to international artists.

Time and persistence has shown me that I can succeed at sharing my art with others as a musician while running my own music business. And that kind of success is as good as I could have ever wished for.

One of my goals is to set up a management or entertainment company to nurture artists... I want to give opportunities to showcase younger singers, every chance I get. (~2015)

You don’t do things because someone else has done it. You don’t work with people’s time, talent or passion. You try to carve a niche for yourself with your own time, talent and passion. Like I said earlier, I am into fashion or African fabrics. I also run a foundation which the Africulture is part of. It is what I love doing. I also cook a lot. If you have an event for instance and you need great delicacies of African touch and class of excellence, I am at your service. I can sing too but not to the point of going into music yet. Not for now at least. I am not thinking along that line

The article about me in Sister Namibia (4 years ago) gave me the exposure that I needed. It made people aware of me and my music. And it gave me a platform from where to reach out to women through my music

Rwanda is promoting young women entrepreneurs to take over and I believe this is our time as Africans to own successful businesses.

I wanted to show that it is possible to be a local person, in Ethiopia and in Africa, and to be globally successful.
