About Jack Butcher

Jack Butcher is a conceptual artist, designer, and entrepreneur working at the intersection of digital media, permissionless markets, and visual communication. After a decade as a creative director in Fortune 100 advertising — working with brands including Amazon, Nike, and Ferrari — he left agency life to build independently online. In January 2019, he founded Visualize Value, a daily practice of distilling ideas through visual constraints that has produced roughly 1,000 original pieces on leverage, value creation, and building in public. In January 2023 he launched Checks VV Edition, a 16,031-edition on-chain generative art project whose secondary volume has exceeded $250 million, followed days later by Opepen Edition, a 16,000-token open-source art protocol functioning as a decentralized digital museum. His work has been exhibited at Art Basel Miami Beach (2024, 2025), Paris Photo (2024), Christie's during Frieze New York (2023), and X-Museum Beijing. He illustrated Eric Jorgenson's The Almanack of Naval Ravikant (2020), The Anthology of Balaji (2023), and The Book of Elon Musk (2025).
