Namibia has enough rainfalls to sustain us long into the future. We will manage the rainwater stopping the drought flood cycle so bio-diversity can flourish and all regions can grow Health food.

The country is water scarce and in provinces such as Northern Cape, this is an issue of life and death. These plants are available everywhere in the world not only in South Africa

I see my task as presenting Namibia as a young democratic African country which, under Your Excellency’s able leadership, is bent on promoting the welfare of all Namibians. I am departing for my new post at a time of great drought in our country. Seeking solutions to and assistance for this dilemma will be my first - albeit not my sole - preoccupation.

Our country has enjoyed good rains and the Namibian landscape is looking its best. The lush greenery is a pleasure to behold. That is our State of the Nation. It is green. In the context of Burkina, drinking water supply is insufficient and using polluted water remains widespread, especially in rural areas. Regarding hygiene and sanitation, rainwater drainage systems are weak in urban areas and almost non-existent in rural areas, causing floods and the spread of disease vectors
