The only way to change anything in Russia is a revolution.

Reforms in Russia are very tragic, but they always end in a farce.

There are things in Russia which are not as they seem.

We are absolutely sure that, without urgent modernisation, the Russian economy has no future, even with the enormous natural resources Russia has.

The only thing for certain about Russia is that it will always be immersed in chaos. That's normal. It's its historical state.

Translation: "The immutable Russian policy is to get whatever they can with the least possible effort, and then ask for more. They never sacrifice their immediate benefits for future goals. They never take into account what has been said, but what has been done. They try to exact a high price for anything that they understand they have to do in any case. The attempts of some of our school authorities to prevent students from learning anything about Communism, for instance, are futile. Newspapers exist; correspondents report; people travel. It is quite impossible to act as though Russia did not exist, or were as inaccessible and mysterious as Mars.

Russia can play the fool and survive because no Government can destroy her natural resources, but if you have the anarchy which Bolshevism and revolution brings in this country, we shall be inevitably ruined.

A Russia of the people is inconceivable without Polish freedom and independence.

A republic is not possible in the Soviet Union because the aim of its rulers is an economic aim. Economic power differs from political power.

Only nothing is impossible.

Today Putin's system of power and Russia — are the same. Putin accustoms the world to the fact disguisting for it, the world, the fact of existence of strong national Russia, "Putin's Russia". Russia without Putin is geopolitically impossible today, it would be just no one's land.
