Polish novelist (born 1948)
Andrzej Sapkowski (born June 21, 1948, in Łódź) is a Polish fantasy writer. He is best known for his six-volume series of books The Witcher, which revolves around the eponymous "witcher," a monster-hunter, Geralt of Rivia.
